Amanda B. Young, formerly known as the Blissful Bride, is quite the entertaining wedding blogger at TheBlissfulBride.Blogspot.com and talented artist at SwoonOverIt.com, Modern Calligraphy Studio. Amanda’s posts highlight wedding topics that are crucial to wedding planning, such as the very relevant post, “Tip Tidbit: How Much Does It Hold?”, where Amanda outlines the seating capacity for wedding party vehicles. We love her attitude that even a school bus could be glammed up and have a great vintage feel for wedding transportation!

Hello all! If you know your way around Facebook, you already know how much fun the “Gifts”, “Free Gifts”, and similar Facebook applications are. It always great to see a friend send you a cute little “gift”, and we thought “hey, wouldn’t it be fun to send wedding gifts and wedding accessories on Facebook?”

Danica McKellar, the famed actress who played Winnie Cooper on the hit TV series “The Wonder Years,” has recently tied to knot to longtime beau Mike Verta, a composer. The two began dating in 2001 and became engaged last August in Chicago.

According to her rep, the two exchanged vows in front of 150 people at an ocean-side church at sunset in La Jolla, California. (This intimate ceremony sounds simply romantic!) She walked down the aisle to wedding music composed by Verta and performed by members of the San Diego Symphony.

“We wanted an intimate, formal event,” said McKellar, who wore a mermaid-style wedding gown and tiara by Renee Strauss. Following the wedding, the couple and their guests enjoyed a lovely dinner and danced to a 10-piece band during the reception at a private club. Even the first song was special, as it was composed by Verta and performed by McKellar’s uncle, Kim McKellar.

Besides being the beloved Winnie, McKellar is also an accomplished mathematician, graduating summa cum laude from UCLA and authoring two best sellers: Math Doesn’t Suck and Kiss My Math.

There’s many wedding blogs out there, but there’s some that just grab our attention right from the headline. This happened to just occur for us with the wedding blog, “With This Ring, I Thee Obsess”. This fun wedding blog chronicles the excitement and stress of wedding planning, with a whimsical touch. We love the “Don’t Be a Fool!” disclaimer on the right-hand side of the blog, which asks readers to think before posting rude comments, and says, “So, don’t be a fool, please be cool.” How true

The posts are always fun and true to real life – you’re going to get the real deal on wedding planning here, and oh how glad are we to see that! It’s great when a wedding blog tells it like it is. We have no doubt in our minds that you’re going to love this blog, and the photos and writing will have you absolutely coming back for more!
